Joyce Menges holds her MS in Adult Education from the University of Southern Maine, a BA with a concentration in Social Sciences from The University of Maine at Fort Kent, and a AA in General Studies from the University of Maine at Augusta and she has been teaching in some form of virtual classroom (ITV, MOO, LAN, and internet-based) since 1992. She is currently matriculated in SMCC's Computer Technology degree program, working and taking classes every semester. This all sounds impressive huh?
Well you also should know that Joyce was 34 years of age before she took her very first college course and she couldn't even multiply fractions at that point so she knows what it feels like to be somewhat lost and intimidated by mathematics. Don't be afraid to come and share your frustrations and questions with her. She's always ready to try to help.
